Horspath has a fine cricket club which caters for all ages and we also have football and cycle speedway.
A thriving friendly club playing in Horspath Village at the Recreation Ground which is situated to the right
of the Village Hall as you enter the car park. Horspath CC has four men's teams in the Cherwell League, and five youth teams,
playing every Saturday, most Sundays (also in friendly matches) and on some weekday evenings in the summer.
The season runs from May to September. Playing and social members are welcomed. Horspath is very proud of its
cricketing traditions and the cricket club has one of the largest social memberships in Oxfordshire.

For 6-16 year olds - 10 teams playing in Oxford Boys' League, on Oxford Marathons' pitches at Oxford Road, Horspath.
Games are played in the Oxford Mail Boys League. A practice pitch with lighting is used near the Village Hall.

An excellently maintained track near the Village Hall. The general public are welcome to attend meetings during
the season which is March to October. The "Horspath Hammers" race in the British Premier League.

Two teams playing in the Oxford Senior League use the pitches on the Rover (BMW) Sports Ground in Horspath Road.
